    Stayed for a business trip. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great accomodations! Good location on the North End of San Diego. Reasonable rates, easy to get to and convenient to many nearby locations. Overall a great stay.

    When I asked to chek in 3 hours early for my room when I was there for a meeting for 5 days they wanted to charge me to check in 3 hours early. The hottub was dirty, the business center didn't have working ink in the printers. When I asked if they had more toner they said they would be with me in awhile and never showed up. The hotel needs some upgrades, its looking ragged. The one employee that acknowledged me positively was the pool maintenance guy.

    The room I was given has mold in the bathroom. The tub had a damaged surface that cuts your feet in the shower. The lamination is coming off on the tub. The shower head was damaged and the nozzle has separated from the water dial. The carpet is dirty and stained. The room is outdated and has a faint odor in it. The bathroom is not cleaned well as was evident by the fact that the mirror wasn't even cleaned before, during or after my week long stay because someone previously drew a heart on it and it never disappeared from the mirror. The breakfast wasn't very good either. There is no working vent or fan in the bathroom.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your candid feedback with our team. I am very disappointed to see that your stay failed to meet your expectations, most noticeably when it came to the overall cleanliness of the room and I would like to sincerely apologize for your experience. I have shared your comments with our Facilities Manager, whom will be further investigating the condition of the guest rooms, as your comments are not an accurate reflection of the state of the property as a whole and we will be researching to address the concerns highlighted for the guest room. However, I would like to share that all of our guest room bathrooms do have vents; however, these are always on, as they are operated by roof units (making these vents very quiet as well). As such, the higher your guest room, the stronger the bathroom fan will be and the more noticeable it will be as well. With that being said, I would again like to apologize for the issues you encountered and I sincerely hope to have the opportunity in the future to show you that this is not a typical experience at our hotel.
