We like the 2nd floor because there are stairs in the middle to walk right down to the desk & breakfast (Karen G)

We have always loved our rooms. I would suggest for a quieter room I would stay on the third floor. There is an elevator. (riley2009079)

“Hotel Under Construction & Railroad review by Hal2014 from Naples, Florida”

When we first arrived at the room, there was a distinct smell in the room that was not tolerable. We were then given another room which appeared a little less smelly. However, the toilet seat was falling off, held on by one screw. There was no water pressure in the shower. The pillows were tiny and overly soft. The front desk couldn't change a $10 bill so that we could use the vending machine. The breakfast was terrible, cold and inedible. We were initially overcharged but then disputed the charge at which time, we received the AAA discount. But besides that, we were awaken at Midnight and pretty much throughout the night for the train that went by very regularly throughout the night. Then around 4ish, we could hear the Federal Express trucks starting their engines and driving through the area. We would never come back nor we would ever recommend this hotel.

On behalf of our entire staff at Country Inns & Suites we apologize for the concerns you shared about your experience at this hotel. I apologize about the room but yes we are having some renovation done to the exterior of the hotel and also repainting the rooms. The smell could have been from the paint in the rooms and I will get that addressed with the team. I also apologize for the soft pillows but all the linens are Country Inn & Suites spec items. Front desk agents can not give you $10 in cash and charge your room as this is per hotel policy due to credit card fraud. The rate that was charged was the correct rate which was quoted at reservation, but due to the issues we went ahead and authorized additional discount for guest compensation. The train does pass about 200 yards behind the hotel and it only passes about twice a week, unfortunately there is not much we could do about the train noise and there is another hotel and another business in between the tracks and our hotel. I have addressed these issues with our team, and I assure you we are working diligently to ensure a similar situation does not occur again in the future.
We appreciate the feedback and will use it to fine tune our operations in the hope that upon your next visit we can exceed your expectations.

“Good value for money review by G3929RHlauram from Miami, United States”

I had always stayed at the Hampton Inn at exit 109 and was rarely happy - it is old and very noisy. When traveling with my nephew and my dog I decided to try Country Inn next door. Turns out they had no rooms with two beds - but the nice man at check in suggested a suite instead at a very affordable AAA/AARP price. Worked perfectly for us - so I went back when traveling with niece and her baby. Staff is lovely and accommodating, rooms are dated but clean, internet is fine, and breakfast coffee and biscuits are quite nice. Will stay there again!!
