The hotel itself was very nice. It was clean, the rooms were comfortable and large, the location next to the airport was convenient, and there were a lot of included features (WiFi, shuttle, breakfast, pool, etc.). However, I'm a light sleeper so in addition to "clean and comfortable," I need a hotel room to be quiet enough for me to sleep. Even with earplugs, shoving a towel under the gap in the hallway door, and leaving the fan running on high for white noise, I could still clearly hear conversations in the rooms next to me, every step the people above me took (sounded like elephants racing back and forth), and I could hear every conversation in the hallway and every ding of the elevators. Surprisingly, the airport noise overnight was not an issue for me.

“Excellent for stay before or after PDX review by Mindy H

We stayed here the night prior to an early flight out of PDX. The hotel was clean and pleasant smelling. It has a "home" feel to it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean, bed was comfy, and it was quiet. It was a hotel room that felt very comfortable. We were able to leave our car in the hotel's parking lot while we were out of town. Parking was a fraction of what it would have cost to park in Economy parking at the airport. The shuttle driver was fantastic--getting us to and from the airport quickly and safely in spite of very nasty road conditions and weather. My only complaint is the hotel is a wee bit expensive if you aren't planning on being there long enough to take in some of the perks like the swimming pool and free breakfast. It also would be nice if a stay at the hotel would cover 3 days of parking rather than being charged to park in addition to the hotel room cost, but I understand space is limited and you want to have space to keep the hotel full.
