Things to Do in Pella
Families and business travelers appreciate our proximity to Central College and international companies such as Pella Corporation and Precision Pulley. During your leisure time, play a round of golf at Bos Landen Golf Club or coast down the waterslides at Pella Aquatic Center. “America’s Dutch Treasure” also offers these attractions:
Vermeer Mill – Just one mile from the hotel stands the tallest functioning windmill in America. Partially built in the Netherlands and assembled in Pella in 2002, this amazing structure powers machines that grind wheat into flour.
Red Rock Area – Spend a day boating or fishing on Lake Red Rock, the state’s largest lake, situated about five miles from the hotel. You can also catch some great views at the Cordova Observation Tower and at the Horn’s Ferry Bridge, which spans the Des Moines River.
