    Solo travel
    Whenever I travel to Orlando for vacation, either Disney or Spring Training, I stay at this hotel. It is reasonably prices, and a short distance to Universal, Disney, and many spring training complexes, despite mid-Florida traffic. It is actually off the main road a little, so it offers some respite from noise and traffic, but the location is excellent.

    The hotel stay was great except one thing, the room smelled aweful. Moldy, musty,. very very strong. The smell could have kept me awake at night, except I was exhausted. The staff was nice and friendly, the check in process took about 45 minutes due to a computer issue, was very tired from the trip, then had to wait in the lobby for ever while they tried to figure out the computer. Wasn't the staffs fault, just a technological error, but the staff were very funny, and entertaining, very nice.

    I was charged $30 for the hotel to receive 2 packages of training materials. I have never been charged for this type of service in 2 years and over 70 stays. Nothing is listed on the website or on the room rate charges on the back of the hotel door.
