    The hotel staff were pleasant. The first morning I stayed there the breakfast was wonderful, which made my final decision to stay another night. I was very disappointed when I went to breakfast the next morning and about half of what was offered the day before was not available the second day. The second day the only hot food items were (fake) eggs and extremely processed microwave bacon (there were no potatoes or French toast in addition to these items like the day before). Also missing the second day was fresh fruit and oatmeal. I was so disappointed that I wanted to cry. I asked the cook if any of these items were going to be coming back out soon, and he said that they had run out of everything the day before. I was shocked. Within 24 hours somebody couldn't figure out a way to put a reasonable breakfast together for their guests the next morning?? Breakfast was from 6am-9:30am...I had arrived at 7:30am so there SHOULD have been a decent selection...even the yogurt selection was pitiful. I stayed until 9:30am eating cereal while I watched everyone else who entered the dining area become just as disappointed as I was. If that wasn't enough of a disappointment, our television did not work the entire first day we were there. I let the front desk staff know and never heard anything about it that day. The second day, I asked if there were updates and they said they were contacting Time Warner Cable. I took it upon myself to unplug the cable box/ TV and plug them back in, and amazingly enough it worked, so I was able to have TV the last few hours of my stay.

    We stayed with our 3 kids and had a great time. The pool and spa are great. The room fit the 5 of us. Our children enjoyed the breakfast. The internet was reliable and the room was clean. We also enjoyed the holiday decorations.

    Overall our stay was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, polite, and overall, warm. The rooms were cozy, and in the whirlpool suite the bath was marvelous. Honestly, I was genuinely impressed by everything, and disappointing by nothing. Additionally, the beds were so incredibly soft, it was difficult to get out of them. Never said that about a hotel before. Overall it was a rather good trip.
