    After 1 day of a week long stay, I was locked out of my room as the key card didn't work. Did the front desk assume I was just there overnight and didn't program it until the end of the week? When I went to the front desk to get the key card resolved, no one was there. I looked outside and saw the front desk attendant smoking a cigarette. I called the hotel number and no one answered. Once I got into the room I decided I couldn't afford to stay there all week after such poor service the first day. I went down to the lobby to check out and again, no one was there. I waited for his return when he replied he went to the bathroom "for just a minute". When I checked in the day before there were 3 people at the front desk. I WILL NOT STAY AT COUNTRY INN AGAIN UNTIL THEY UNDERSTAND THEY ARE IN A SERVICE INDUSTRY AND THAT NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE.
