    At check-in I was given a room key in a small envelope with the number 339 written on it. I went up to Room 339 and tried to enter the room. Key card did not work. Back down on the elevator to the lobby and check in desk. Told the young woman I was not able to get into my room. She re-keyed it and sent me back up the elevator to the 3rd floor to room 339. Still could not get in. Key card did not work. Back down on the elevator to the lobby and check in desk. Told the young woman I was not able to get into my room. This time she said she would go with me. Turns out I had not been checked in to Room 339, the young woman had put me into room 338 and keyed the card for 339. By this time I was tired. It was probably 7 pm. I needed to do some work that evening. I was unable to get online. I called the front desk and asked for the customer service phone number to the Internet provider. She told me she didn't have one. There was no information book in the room listing any phone number or who to call if one was not able to connect to the Internet. No information book at all. Nothing. I asked the young woman to call the manager and find out who the Internet provider was so that I could get online and do the work I needed to do that evening. I was staying at the hotel on business. The manager never returned her call. I will never stay at a Country Inns & Suites Hotel again. I am upset that I used 5,000 of my Carlson points on this. What a waster of my points.

    It was nice, clean and convenient. Hotel staff could be more friendly. And renovation of the next door room could be postponed till 8 o'clock instead of starting at 7 am. Breakfast is very decent. Parking lot is a little small. We were travelling with a trailer and were lucky that the hotel was not full. Nice area. Restaurant and shops nearby.
