    This hotel is one of the better Country Inn's in Iowa. Recently updated, it has clean rooms, a new breakfast area that is typically well-stocked and offers a decent selection, and an outdoor patio & fireplace. It is also a convenient distance from a shopping mall, grocery store, and many restaurants and shops. I usually get treated very well at this location. This stay, however, started out not very well. The front desk clerk was very cheerful when I arrived and he began checking me in. Unfortunately, there was a very noticeable personal hygiene issue that was pretty off-putting. When he went to check me in, he proceeded to lock himself out of the computer system. He had to contact another employee via telephone (it was after 10 pm), in order to get their log-in information to check me in. Once in the system he told me that the card I presented was not the one used for the reservation. I told him the card is my business credit card and all travel expenses get put on that card, but asked him for the last 4 digits of the credit card on file in case I had made a mistake during reservation. He provided me with a 4-digit combination that didn't match any of my personal or business cards. After I told him this, he continued to review the reservation for another few moments before stating that he had made a mistake and that I was all set. The stay was good and the hotel is a nice Country Inn compared to some others in Iowa. The only other issue was that the hotel printer was down at check-out time so I requested that they email me a receipt which was done within the hour.
