“Not Very Good review by bertsharp from Peterborough, Canada”

We had reserved on line and upon arrival we had to wait at the front desk for the staff member who arrived served us in sock feet. We were checked into a room that was infested with red fire ants. When reporting the incident we were told that there were no other rooms available and then were informed that there was one king size bed room. When arriving back at the front desk we were told that this room was to be renovated. The rugs were dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty, the elevator floor was dirty, the pool water was murky. This stay did not rise to the standard that we are use to when staying at Country Inns.
“Plenty of better rooms for less money nearby. review by bobamey”

Nobody on staff seems to care about much. Room not regularly cleaned. Towels came some days and not others. Trash baskets emptied some days but not others. One of the breakfast ladies just rudely stared at everyone trying to have breakfast.
“Nice Building but looks run down already. review by mcaples67”

This could be a nice place to stay, near St. Louis. But the staff does not seem to care a lot, and thus the hallways and dingy and the rooms are dirty.
The building itself appeared fairly new, with nice sized rooms and good amenities. I hope they turn it around soon.
