    I’ve stayed here several times and every room I’ve stayed in smells like smoke. Plus, this hotel really needs an update...there aren’t even extra plugs in the nightstand for phones. I only stay here when the other hotels are full.

I am so sorry that you smelled smoke in your room and I want to assure you that we do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our non-smoking rooms; and when a situation like this occurs, we address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. On behalf of our entire staff, we thank you for choosing our hotel and hope you give us a chance to serve you again and experience the improvements we have made.

    When we first arrived, we were told by the person working the counter that she “wasn’t sure if she would be able to check us in”. After about 20 minutues, it turned out that the employee had incorrectly written down the credentials of another staff member and was unable to sign in. Once we were checked in and went to our room (at approximately 4:30 PM), we discovered that our room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. After visiting the front desk again, staff needed to manually check various rooms to determine which ones had been cleaned. After another 30 minutes, we were able to unpack. Both nights our cards had to be reprogrammed to enter our room. The first night, the employee working the front desk simply asked for our room number without any verification that we were truly staying. While it is an added convenience, the pool was closed (without any information provided to staff about the status) and the television in the room was not functional. Upon checking out, we had to request a receipt for our stay. The employee was rude and seemed to be inconvenienced by our request.
