The hotel was clean and easy to get to. It has a great hot breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite large. It was nice having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Unfortunately the indoor pool was not open which we were looking forward to using but they did offer the use of a sister hotel about 8 miles away. We just did not want to drive there and come back in wet bathing suits.

“Mislead by staff review by Sharkief from Cross Plains, Wisconsin”
August 09, 2018
We stayed two nights. At check out I informed the front desk person of two issues... 1) the water was dangerously hot (especially for children) and 2) the room wasn't clean. There was trash under the pull-out sofa and dust and dirt all over the sofa mattress. The lamp shade was also extremely dirty. The front desk person replied that the hot water was necessary to wash dishes. He wrote a note about the cleanliness and said the room rate would be adjusted down for both nights and he would email a new receipt. However, upon receiving the emailed receipt, he only took off $10 (total) and did not adjust the rate down for each night as promised. I contacted him again and then he adjusted it for just one night. This was unprofessional and deceitful. The one positive was the woman working the breakfast area was very kind and friendly.
