I would keep driving. Unless there is a marked improvement after renovations (IslandGirl914)

I would wait until the remodeling is complete, before trying again. (Jan S)

“Old outdated hotel review by tatewatson from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida”

Room key cards never worked more than one time - had to keep getting new cards made - clearly outdated old system.
Loose tiles in bath & entry way.
Poorly built hotel - people walking around above you or in hall sounded like they were in your room.
Stairs leading to 2nd floor from lobby were never vacuumed.
Concrete by main entrance in serious need of major repair.
This is the oldest most outdated hotel is terrible need of many repairs. It's obvious the owner has seriously neglected it.

Upon arrival the front desk staff was very nice and attentive. Once we entered our room I was shocked by how unclean it was. There was hair in the bathroom, soap scum on the tub and the counter was very dirty. The fridge had water in it. The beds are lumpy and the walls are so thin you can hear everything. The laundry room only had one of two washers working and knowing a baseball team is arriving you would think that the one washer broken would of been addressed promptly for the parents washing uniforms but it sat broken all 6 days. The elevator had not been inspected since 9/2016 and the certificate expired 12/2017. Was a very slow elevator with only one in the hotel. Breakfast was okay but was served with styrofoam plates and plastic ware which they ran out of and after waiting 15 mins for someone to bring more we just threw our food away and went to Shoney’s. For the price you pay per night it is definitely not worth it and I’m shocked this is a Radisson hotel.
