This hotel is conveniently located near the facility where I receive treatments. The staff has been very friendly each time I have stayed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downfall is the fact it is near the interstate so you can hear the traffic. (I live in a relatively quiet community so it doesn't take much noise to disturb me.) However, the experience I've had with the hotel outweighs the noise of the traffic so as long as I have to continue treatments at the same facility, I will be staying there.

Bedbug bites and rash/reaction were evident on my daughter in the evening following a Thursday morning departure. I called the report the issue the following Friday morning, asking to speak to a manager. The person who answered took my information including the room number and my call back number. The assistant manager called me back and reported that no bedbugs had been found in the room and wondered if it could be a reaction to the soaps/amenities (which my daughter did not use). I explained that I, unfortunately, had had a prior experience with bedbugs with another hotel chain and felt confident that we were dealing with a bedbug issue. My daughter's bedbug bites were confirmed and treated by a medical doctor. This hotel stay is the only unfamiliar setting that my daughter was in prior to the bedbug bites. I explained that my intent for reporting was to prevent another guest from suffering like my daughter was suffering and to help someone avoid the out-of-pocket expenses/time loss we had incurred - OTC medications, co-pay, prescription meds, washing/steaming clothes and luggage, and vacuuming vehicles just to avoid carrying the bedbugs to another location. Because it was a rewards/points night, I did not ask for any monetary compensation. I asked that my points be reinstated. The assistant manager told me he could not authorize that but would ask his manager to call me on Monday. I waited for the managers call until mid-day on Monday and it never came. I called the hotel and was told he was in a meeting. The front desk employee took my name and contact number with the reason for my call which I stated was a follow-up to Friday's report of bedbugs. No one from the hotel has called me and it is now Tuesday.

This hotel is in a great location, very clean and comfortable and best of all, it was pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay here. The only problem we had was our shower head wasn't working properly. We reported it and since there was no maintenance person available, they gave us a small discount. We will be back if we have events in the area.
