  • Grandview (18.4 miles)

  • Bridge Day (23 miles) 
    Take part in the largest one-day festival in West Virginia, where visitors come from far and wide to skillfully rappel off the bridge or watch from the sidelines. Bridge Day takes place annually on the third Saturday in October.
  • Bridge Walk (23 miles) 
    Not for the faint of heart, this attraction allows you to walk across the canyon on a 24-inch-wide catwalk, 851 feet above the river while securely strapped into a safety cable.
  • Class VI (24 miles)
    Choose your own adventure at Class VI, where you can participate in canopy tours, paddleboarding, white water rafting, horseback riding and paintball excursions.
  • Adventures on the Gorge (24.8 miles)
    Follow the expert tour guides at Adventures on the Gorge to experience rafting, zip-lining and rappelling at the fun-filled New River Gorge.
  • Hawks Nest State Park (30 miles)
    Bird-watchers can catch glimpses of hawks, turkey vultures, black vultures and, occasionally, bald and golden eagles at this state park.
  • New River Jet Boats (30.8 miles) 
    Travel from the rim of the New River Gorge by tram, and then climb aboard a boat for a one-of-a-kind view of the enormous New River Gorge Bridge from below.
