“Loud and dirty review by 544wadea from Katy, TX, United States”

I paid $85 per night for this hotel. Upon my Sunday evening arrival there was broken glass in the parking lot and almost every step in the stairs up to the second floor had cracker crumbs or other dirt on them. The receptionist was pleasant and did not mention the dirt. My room was pretty clean but the mattress was very old and lumpy. The air conditioner was very loud and made an even louder noise when the compressor cycled. I could hear the freeway pretty clearly when the AC was off. Floors were very thin and I could hear every step from above. On Tues morning I finally mentioned the dirty stairs which had yet to be cleaned. That evening they had been vacuumed but the surrounding floors had not. Much of the breakfast bar was depleted by 8:30 AM. Internet was OK but not capable of streaming video. 7 PM on Mon evening the cleaning crew was outside my door vacuuming for 20 minutes and there was some sort of loud banging in the room next door. Normally, cleaning should be done by 5 PM so as not to disturb guests. You decide if these issues, which you may or may not face, makes the price worth it. For me, they didn't.
