Great place to stay while traveling through Texas. Friendly staff and nice variety of options included in the free breakfast. Cookies hit the spot and were delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area.

Hotel was advertised as non-smoking facility. Our floor reeked with cigarette smoke. Kids running in the hall unattended. A lot of noise from the floor above. Won't be staying here any more. Employees were very pleasant.

I stayed at this hotel Jan 8—9, 2016. Attractive hotel. Friendly staff. Mostly quiet. A/C has digital thermostat. "Wall hugger" TV stand. Fridge and microwave in small cabinet. Separate switch for bathroom fan. Adequate electrical outlets. Bathroom sink is nice height (35½"). Bed firm and supportive. Pillows were so-so. Room was clean. Heater fan runs continuously—a drawback. Desk chair too low. Wi-Fi required log-in and "timed out" after 24 hours. Wi-Fi connection was slow to set up but worked well otherwise. Outlets behind nightstand were difficult to reach. Toilet seat was loose. Shower handle was misoriented 180°. Shower pressure was fair. Shower head needed two hands to adjust and was difficult to reach (height 78"). Refrigerator made humming noise. Telephone did not work. Hotel has sprinklers, elevator, and indoor pool (not tested). Complimentary coffee and cookies in lobby (but coffee was weak). Tasteful music was playing in lobby—and was not too loud—a welcome change. Fairly convenient location on south Dodgen Loop. Coffee maker in room (not tested) was not connected to outlet, and plugging it in would require unplugging fridge or microwave and then it would not reach outlet, so it would have to be placed elsewhere in room to be used.
