Now a nationwide system of schools, Brown Mackie College was first founded in 1892, just over a mile from our hotel’s location in Salina, KS. The college was once owned by Kansas Wesleyan University instructors and is now operated by Education Management Corporation. The Salina campus offers programs in nursing, healthcare and wellness, business and technology, legal studies and veterinary technology.
Kansas State University – Salina
A satellite campus of Kansas State University, K-State Salina is home to the university’s College of Technology and Aviation. The campus has three adjacent runways, as well as an impressive fleet of aircrafts. In addition, the school also offers programs in engineering technology, family studies, technology management and social work. K-State Salina is only three miles from the hotel.
Kansas Wesleyan University is a private, Methodist liberal arts school just two miles from our hotel’s address. A highlight in Salina, KS, the university was founded in 1886 and now offers 25 undergraduate majors, as well as an MBA program. The beautifully landscaped, 28-acre campus includes a Methodist church and a devotional garden.
