One of southeast Minnesota's most dynamic annual events, Rochesterfest offers a wide range of family-friendly activities, including downtown concerts, minor league baseball games, and the much-anticipated Lumberjack Games. In addition, festival-goers may participate in a volleyball tournament, a golf shoot-out, a bike race, and a Friday night street dance. Events associated with Rochesterfest are held in various venues in and around town -- call for times and admission prices (if any). Rochesterfest buttons are available for $3 and are good for discounts and free bus rides.

The "long-running" Transportation Fair features a wide-variety of automobiles for both kids and adults to enjoy. Young ones, especially, stand in amazement of the big trucks, dump trucks, snow plows and recreational vehicles - they can even get behind the wheels of a few of them. Other activities at this free event include face painting and a kids ID program, and of course there's plenty of tasty food to go around.
