    I enjoyed my stay and plan to return and tell to others. The hotel was clean, and the service was A plus. The desk clerks were nice and willing to help with directions and advice to dinner and bar locations in the area. Country Inns & Suites was a welcomed relief for me as a large person I enjoyed to size of the suite with a living area complete with cable tv, icebox, and sitting area. Above all the bathroom area was clean and in order. the vending machines was fully stocked and the breakfast was well stocked and managed. For the value this was outstanding.

    Perfect place to stay. I have stayed there a few times, and it was great. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are nice! I also enjoy the indoor pool! Only down fall, is the breakfast juices, they are terrible.

    Despite the mixed reviews I chose to stay for one night (a Monday) and found the hotel not in the best location for my trip plus the hotel is not well marked from the road and while I could SEE the hotel in the distance (at night) I had trouble finding the entrance and went by it twice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I can honestly say it was the fastest "check-in" I've encountered anywhere for a long time. My room on the first floor was average, carpet could have been replaced and the bathroom updated (esp. the towels). Like other posters the breakfast fell short in quality and selection but aside from that, the area was filthy. I never saw the staff member assigned to the breakfast area wipe up anything (spilt juice, milk, eggs), cereal was crushed on the floor and the tables not clean, the coffee area was trashed. While I love the CIS brand I probably will have to pass when traveling to the Richmond area unless this hotel gets a facelift. But again, front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
