If you like to sleep in, ask for a room away from the breakfast buffet and pool. (kathleenkmm)

I'd ask for a room that doesn't face Hwy 80, as it can be loud with the traffic. (JenJAR73261)

get a room on the back side of the hotel, the traffic is loud in front of the hotel. (Mark J)

Rooms on the second floor in the back of the building are very quiet and dark.
There is no elevator in this hotel, but it is only two floors, so if you can't navigate steps, get a first floor room. (329BRENDAL)

I would choose a room on the upper floor to avoid the noise of running water. (retiredbeachbums)

Friendly staff; clean hotel, very nice and good-sized pool. Hot tub should be a bit hotter; scrambled eggs were terrible, but breakfast was great, overall. These are more characters because I need to type a minimum of 200 characters. So much for the soul of wit and all that.

“A wonderful evening”
January 01, 2015
As a person that lives a LONG ways away from her family, I have had to travel extensively. I am happy to state that I was extremely happy with my stay at Country Inn in Platteville, Wisconsin. When do travelers have the opportunity to enjoy their coffee and/or hot chocolate in REAL cups and their breakfast on REAL plates??? It was a joy! The room was wonderful, especially after coming in from a COLD evening. I live near South Padre Island, and I am not used to inclement weather like you have in Wisconsin. Your wifi worked well, and I felt safe at this location. The lady working when I checked in was pleasant and helpful. Thank you sooooo much for a lovely stay.
