"My sister and I stayed at Country Inn & Suites Pinellas in July 2011 and found it to be an excellent choice for a centrally-located, easy to access hotel. We were there to visit family so did not use the facilities except to eat breakfast and for a home base. The staff obviously enjoys their jobs and were pleasant and customer-service oriented. The hotel was neat and clean – the room was well kept, very clean and comfortable with no “smelly” air freshener odor – no odor at all which was good. There was a problem with the water pump one morning, but it was fixed within a couple of hours – an inconvenience, but likely addressed as soon as it could have been and did not prevent breakfast from being served on time – the management was informative and updated guests promptly. Not a good happenstance, but handled well nonetheless. Excellent value and good choice!"
"This hotel is in a good location for driving around Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg. The rooms are clean and nice, they provide extra toiletries if needed, tasty continental breakfast with good options, and there are good food locations around with a Wal-Mart across the street. We didn’t have any problems with the place except for that one morning, the woman serving the breakfast was not having a good day and she was grouchy and a little slow keeping up with food and drink demands. They have a small library where you can take books with you and return it to any other Country Inn and Suites. Free Internet, business center and small outdoor pool. Overall a very clean and nice hotel."
"Always stay at Country Inn & Suites. This one was just recently built so everything was very nice and pretty brand new. The outdoor pool was very clean and beautiful with stamped concrete. The breakfast selection was great--lots of healthy alternatives. The front desk people were all very pleasant. At different times of the day, on going in and out, they all made pleasant conversation or greeted us. The hotel was about 10 minutes away from the St. Petersburg/Clearwater airport and 15 minutes away from the beaches. Just up the road is a Wal-Mart and a plaza with nice restaurants, movie theatre, Target and other shopping. (BJ's restaurant in the plaza was very nice!)."
"We had a great stay! We did the advanced purchase so we paid a little less than the regular rate and would have paid more! It was very clean! Everything looked new! We stayed in a whirlpool suite the first few nights and were scheduled to move to a regular room but they let us upgrade to the whirlpool room for the rest of our stay! We loved this hotel and didn't want to leave! It was a great home away from home! The breakfast was limited but different every day and very nice. One lady that worked the evening shift was not very helpful, but everyone else was very friendly and always eager to help!"
"Stayed here last year and enjoyed it. Returned this year. No complaints. Room clean, breakfast served the purpose, front desk staff always smiling and friendly. Nice to have a business center with free Internet and laundry facilities. Overall, a great few days. I will definitely return next year when back in that area!! Always a great stay there."
"Spent a wonderful night here. Just about everything regarding this hotel, from check-in to room cleanliness to sleep quality to amenities to breakfast (which includes sausage and eggs) was excellent. Only negative was that it took several minutes to find someone to check me out. Turns out they were having a meeting in the conference room. Should have posted a sign, but I eventually figured it out and got someone to check me out. But that check-out issue doesn't take away at all from what was a very good experience."
"Once again, we had a great time staying at this establishment. The price was great (we opted to prepay this year and saved a bunch of money.) The staff from last year actually remembered us! It's located less than a mile from family we came to visit. Wal-Mart was right across the street. It was almost like visiting an old friend. I honestly wanted to bring the bed home with me!"
"I paid $72/night for two night stay. Hotel staff was wonderful at check-in, provided an upgrade to a suite while friendly and efficient. The decor and lobby area was very pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable with microwave and fridge. Flat screen TV with 60 channels including HBOS. Bathroom was clean and had a very new feel. Beds were comfortable, soft with feather pillows. Free wireless. For business, it was top notch. For a family vacation, I would want to be on the beach, but for the price this hotel is great value."

"My family stayed here August (2009) so this is a way delayed review! The price was right, the location awesomely close to my brother and his wife's home, unlimited shopping, places to eat. Very close to the beach (short drive.) The breakfast hostess was so sweet. The front desk was attentive and friendly and caring. We found an injured bird (we named him Charlie!) and the one employee took it to the bird sanctuary. That was the same care that was given while performing her duties to make sure guests at this hotel experienced a great stay. We are going back again this summer...I can't wait!!!"
"I travel on business and frequently stay in the Pinellas County area. Although my business dealings are in Clearwater, I drive 11-12 miles to stay here. It is nearly new and, although it is located directly alongside busy US-19, it is incredibly quiet. It's not on the beach, but if that's what you want, it's a short drive away. It is convenient to St. Petersburg, Clearwater and not that far from Bradenton and Sarasota (an easy drive down I-275 over the Sunshine Skyway). Tampa International isn't that far either. I really like Country Inns & Suites (much more consistently good than Hampton) and stay with them when I can. I have never had a bad experience at one of their inns. Everything about the Pinellas Park property (pardon the alliteration) is wonderful. The beds are very comfy and the linens clean and fresh. The breakfast isn't particularly dazzling, but it is adequate and the coffee is good and always available. And the price is right, too!"
"This is a brand new hotel and after staying there for a few days, I can tell you first hand that no corner was cut in the construction and design on this hotel. I stayed in a King room on the third floor and for the location being approx. 15 min from the beach and 20 min from the Tampa airport, for the quality of the room, friendliness of the staff and the cost around $80/night, you can't do too much better than that. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Tampa or to the Pinellas County beaches. If the quality of this hotel and its staff were the standard at every hotel, there would be no need for any review/ratings sites. Also, since this hotel is so new, there are not a lot of people that know about it. There was no waiting during check-in and no bustle of people around when coming and going. When staying here the hotel was only 30% occupied, which made it very quite and comfortable."
"The hotel is less than 9 months old, very clean, and extremely affordable. The Tampa/St. Pete area was beautiful and the hotel was in a good central location for all the activities we planned. I can only come up with two suggestions for them. Put a TV in the lobby and a hot tub with the pool."
