I chose this hotel because of the good reviews, airport shuttle, and breakfast buffet. The breakfast had tons of options and was great for my teenager (cereal, eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc). The airport shuttle was extremely convenient and the driver was a lovely woman, very friendly. All of the staff seemed nice. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and I found the room and bathroom to be very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. My only problem was that when I checked in, I immediately knew there was a problem with the ac because it was 79 in the room and the unit was extremely loud. I called the front desk right away and they sent a service guy up, but basically I was told everything was fine and I just had to wait for the room to cool down. The thermostat was set to 70, but after spending two hours in my room and getting a headache from the ridiculously loud ac unit, the temp actually went up from 79 to 80. At that point I went downstairs and relayed that my room was not getting any cooler and it was going to be impossible for us to sleep due to the loud noise. The woman at the desk said they were completely booked but then said she had one room, and within a few minutes a very nice service man escorted me to the new room, where the ac worked perfectly. So, my issue was resolved, but I think that the hotel staff should know whether the air is working properly or not before placing someone in a room, and I shouldn't have been made to feel that I was being impatient or unreasonable when I immediately called to report the ac problem. Despite the issue with the air, I would consider staying here again due to the other positive benefits.
