AIRPORT - JAN. This Greek Revival municipal building was constructed during the mid-19th century and has served as Jackson's City Hall ever since. During the Civil War, it was used as a hospital for both Confederate and Union soldiers. It was one of three public buildings to survive the war. The Josh Halbert Garden is a formal garden plaza with fountains that boasts a bronze statue of Andrew Jackson as its centerpiece. The third floor of the structure is used as a Masonic Lodge.
