The Old Absinthe House is rich in tradition, and its building dates back to 1807 when it was first used as a grocery, then as a coffee house. In 1874 a bartender concocted the \"Absinthe Frappe,\" which gained notoriety and changed the coffee house's name. Today the bar attracts both locals and tourists and has a sports bar-like ambiance that even includes a jukebox.
