“Overall, a good place to stay”

I was in Murfreesboro for a meeting the next morning, and this was one of the hotels recommended. I arrived after 11 PM, and the desk attendant had all the paperwork and key cards all ready for me. My room looked huge compared to most hotel rooms, though the bathroom was a more typical size. There was plenty of lighting, and there was a night stand on both sides of the bed. The lamps on the night stand and the desk had two electrical outlets built in, and the desk had another conveniently placed outlet above it, so it was really easy to charge my phone and laptop computer. The bed was quite comfortable. The room had a microwave and refrigerator (neither of which I used) which were encased in a cabinet so they didn't make noise and keep me awake at night. I was impressed that there were real plates for breakfast (that's environmentally responsible!), but flimsy plastic forks that needed the assistance of a plastic knife when trying to eat the rather rubbery eggs. Other than the eggs, the rest of the breakfast was good. The hotel was undergoing some renovation. It looks like the hallway wallpaper and the moldings around the doors were being replaced, so I suspect it will look really nice in a few more weeks. Apparently a previous guest had absconded with the ironing board, but I didn't need it, and the desk attendant did ask if I needed one when I informed her in the morning as I was checking out. The internet connection worked just fine with no problems. It took a little while to figure out the clock radio, and as is often the case in big buildings, reception was a little sporadic on many stations. I didn't turn on the TV at all. Overall this was a good place to stay. The very minor complaints I noted would not keep me from staying here again if I needed to stay in or near Murfreesboro. It's fairly conveniently located near several major highways.

This Country INN is being upgraded; good staff and excellent breakfast....newly furnished rooms and upgraded bathroom. As in past reviews, we like Country Inn and Suites and stay in them as often as possible....no elevator or pool at this facility and the security is impressive...rate was very competitive. Good parking. Access to the facility however could us a sign...off the highway, around a filling station and down the access road-- at night it was hard to locate but worth the effort.

Even though the hotel was under renovation, the room was clean and tidy. I like the easy access off the highway and the proximity to many restaurants and shopping places. The always have a large assortment of breakfast items and I especially like having coffee available in the lobby. I look forward to retruning

This hotel will be very nice once the renovations are complete. It will have a very new look and feel. Parking will be limited during construction. The people and Management were very nice. The Breakfast was acceptable.
