HILLSBOROUGH STREET. Since 1985, Gallery C has featured the work of contemporary artists, many of them from the Southeast. In addition to the regular inventory, there are approximately eight special exhibits per year, which may feature animation cels, Haitian art, antique prints, and solo or group shows of contemporary art. Perhaps their most popular and well-attended event is the annual holiday arts and crafts exhibit and sale, held from mid-November through the New Year.

Artspace is a private, non-profit visual art center dedicated to presenting quality exhibitions and educational programs in an open-studio environment, and to promoting the visual arts by making the creative process accessible to the public. Artspace offers the public the unique opportunity to visit and interact with over 40 artists working in open studios. Visit three exhibition galleries featuring regional, national and international artists. Participate in a variety of arts education programs including tours, lectures, demonstrations, gallery talks and art classes for children and adults.

DOWNTOWN. This eclectic full-service gallery features a number of exhibits each year, and includes works from both regional and national artists. Media range from oils and watercolors, to glass and clay, to film and wood. You'll find a variety of styles, as well, from abstract to realism and impressionism. On the first Friday of the month, they have extended evening hours from 6pm to 9pm. Framing, and private and corporate consulting are also available.
