“It was good, but not perfect.”

We stayed for our 12th anniversary, 2 nights with no kids, it was a fun little get away from it all, the first night was good, but my back hurt the next morning from sleeping on the bed, I could not use the hot tub as it was cold according to the other guests that were in the pool area. We ordered the romance package and had to laugh at the "rose petals" on the floor and trailed to the bed, they were fake, and frankly were a mess, I laughed the next night when in addition to what was already in the room, there was even more all around, and arranged in a heart on the bed. I had requested sparkling cider, and chocolate dipped strawberries, as our options for the romance package, and upon check in were greeted with a bottle of wine and box of chocolates. When we told them at the desk on our way out to dinner, they apologized and had replaced it with cider upon our return. The second night was not bad, but the bed had me hurting bad enough the next day that I had to take pain pills and sit in the jacuzzi tub to sooth the pain. The bathroom is poorly laid out, the door hits the tub, and if you don't close the door before sitting on the toilet you have to turn sideways to get it past you the room is that tight. There was a wrapper from a previous guests denture adhesive on the floor up under the sink, house keeping had missed it, and I am willing to bet it is still there, as it was there the second day after they reset the room for us. It was a pleasant stay, and I would come back again, possibly off season when it is more affordable. this was a splurge and was well worth the expense, as it was a last minute trip, and it was the only place in town that had availability.

“Decent but don't expect too much”

The hotel is conveniently located off highway 60 in Mesa. It is rather dated for a larger hotel and that's why it doesn't get a very good rating from me. It is borderline dirty, so don't expect too much. The beds, however, were better than I expected.

    “Suite not so sweet.”

Stains on wall, sink did not drain properly, the oatmeal tasted like cardboard. They could not offer honey to mix with the oatmeal. The furniture was old and outdated. The only positive was the location of the property. It was located next to several restaurants and It was easy to get to the Fwy.

Booked online and was offered an $18 update option: "Pool view king suite with private balcony". What we got was a dreary king suite with dirty carpets and a bedroom window overlooking the parking lot.
