About Manchester

Considered the halfway mark between Chattanooga and Nashville, Manchester is home to approximately 7,800 Tennesseans. Although the area has grown in population due to a recent influx of industry, it still maintains its pleasant small-town Southern charm. Manchester is the Coffee County seat and is located in the Highland rim area of the state, surrounded by a landscape that features sprawling flatlands mixed with rolling hills. Fishing and hunting are favorite recreational pastimes, but visitors can also tour the Manchester Arts Center, and the Arrowheads/Aerospace Museum.
