Intended to bolster the confidence and competitive abilities of female athletes, this triathlon attracts a wide cross-section of women to the LakeView RecPlex. Since 1990, more than 120,000 athletes have participated in the races, which are held in various cities across the country. Pleasant Prairie's competition is relatively new, but it elicits a strong turn-out. The triathlon accommodates both novice and seasoned athletes.

Beautiful Prairie Springs Park and Lake Andrea are the setting for this strenuous, rewarding competition, which couples biking, swimming, and running. The 425-acre park accommodates all aspects of the competition, and categories are available for adults as well as kids aged 7 to 10 and aged 11 to 14. All interested folks are invited to participate, whether they've run triathlons before or would like to try one for the first time.

Renowned for their water-skiing acrobatics, this troupe delights local audiences with elaborate, choreographed routines. When the weather warms up, the not-for-profit organization takes to Lake Mary, offering free shows that capitalize on the group's practiced skills. Water ballet, stunts, and amazing spectacle continue to amaze onlookers as they have done for the past two decades. A great family event.
