Children of all ages are sure to enjoy the animal showings, delicious food, exciting live entertainment, farm tractor pulls and free kids' shows that are offered during the Kalamazoo County Fair held in August each year. For a weekend of car exhibitions, arts and crafts, games, live entertainment and swap meets, head over to the Street Rod Nationals North to see more than 3,000 vehicles on display. The awards ceremony will take place on the last day of the event. In addition, several incredible street rods will be parked at restaurants and hotels for the whole community to enjoy.

Started in 1976 to honor the Bicentennial, this unique event is the largest of its kind in the Midwest and brings in more than 10,000 visitors, including re-enactors representing the French and Indian and Civil Wars. The Living History Show also features presentations by noted American historians, exhibits focusing on pre-1890 artifacts, and contests that allow participants to show off their finest historical fashions.

KSO was founded in the 1920s by Leta G. Snow and has grown from a 25-member group to what is now Michigan's third largest orchestra. Their summer concert series is one of the season's most anticipated events.
