    Normally we stay at the Hampton Inn right across the street but they didn't have any rooms for this stay. After looking around, I thought we would give Country Inn and Suites a try, and possibly use them in the future. It was cheaper and seemed to have all of the same amenities. Being in the same location was a bonus. When we got there our room wasn't ready, but that wasn't a big shock. I asked if they could hold some of our luggage and Yuvi didn't seem too keen on that. After a minute he said he could but I didn't want to trust my bags with someone who wasn't confident in being able to keep them safe. Every other hotel I've been to has no problem with this. When we came back to check in an hour later, everything went smooth. Yuvi was very pleasant and polite. I asked about the fitness center, and was informed there isn't one on premise. He said they used to have a deal with LA Fitness but with new management that is no longer the case. I was extremely disappointed, considering they do say there is a fitness center on they webpage, pictures included. The room we had was a King Suite and appeared clean. My wife noticed something sticking out from under the bed and swept out a pair of socks. There was also a some paper and magazines behind the couch. Other than that the room was great for what we needed. The kids loved the pool, even though the water was a little cold. We ended up playing board games with local family who came to visit us at the hotel in the common area. It was clean and roomy there, with enough room to be comfortable. We could have played our room but it would have been cramped. Breakfast was tasty. There were biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, various pastries, various cereal, and more. Plenty to get a hungry family moving. One of the neat things they had was a book program. You can borrow a book on their shelf and if you don't finish it, take it with you and then return it to any Country Inn and Suites. We also loved the chocolate chip cookies they had (peanut free). The bottom line is, despite the lack of fitness center, the savings is enough for us to probably make the switch.

    Staff was vey nice. Having kids wanting to swim and then finding out water is really cold and it made for a long unrelaxing stay. Hot tub was gone also. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was good but had to take back to room no room to sit down and eat only a few tables.

    “Dirty and not maintained”

    This hotel is clearly not up to the brand standards. It was run-down, dirty and not well maintained. Holes in carpet, dirty bedding - I would certainly NOT recommend this one. There are many others in the area that do a better job.
