Marion, Ohio.. It has been said that big things come in small packages. This is certainly true in Marion, with it a wealth of treasures just waiting to be discovered. With so much to see and do, you could spend days getting lost in our rich history and heritage. Come see for yourself!

We're located minutes from the home of the 29th president, Warren G. Harding, Marion OSU, Marion Technical College, the Harding Memorial, Heritage Hall, Wyandot Popcorn Museum, Marion County Fairgrounds, Little Brown Jug and the Marion Palace Theatre. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is just 30 minutes away.

Want time to stroll through a park or play a round of golf with friends? Marion is your ticket to relaxation and fun! Marion has a surplus of parks to choose from allowing kids to run free and those who are kids at heart to enjoy the scenery and calmness of nature. For the avid golfer, the hardest part of playing golf in Marion is choosing where to go.

Marion's most famous citizen was Warren G. Harding, 29th President of the United States; the city's Harding Memorial is the final resting place of President and Mrs. Harding. Visitors enjoy touring the restored Harding Home, the front porch of which was the location of many of Harding's campaign speeches in 1920. Marion is also known as the "Popcorn Capital of the World," and a popular attraction is the Wyandot Popcorn Museum in Heritage Hall under a large circus tent several antique popcorn wagons are included in the collection. The historic Palace Theatre presents many cultural events in the atmosphere of a Moorish courtyard, complete with twinkling lights and drifting clouds, while the downtown district attracts folks with a number of shops and restaurants.

Held the first weekend after Labor Day, the Marion Popcorn Festival attracts crowds exceeding 250,000 for a parade, entertainment, rides, and, of course, lots of popcorn. Local companies producing popcorn products include Vogel Popcorn, ConAgra Snack Foods and Wyandot, Inc., with brand names such as Newman's Own Gourmet Popping Corn, Act II, Orville Redenbacher and Healthy Choice.
