Cafe 113 The fine dining restaurant incorporates a bar, fine dining area and a wine store. Today, the restaurant's dining room is decorated in a classic style, with dark wood paneling, 1920s tin ceilings and Greek statues.
Simp McGhee's Very good food and service and a great setting. Simp McGhee's is named after the "infamous" river boat Captain that once traveled the Tennessee River. He made Decatur his home. Simp was also famous for his pet beer drinking pig.
This restaurant is also located on historic Bank Street where buildings are rich in history and some date back before the Civil War.
This restaurant is a nice change of pace from the "norm" of chain restaurants. All entree's are very good. Average entree price of $18 to $25. Price for 4 people including a glass of wine each, appetizer, entrees, dessert and coffe + tip will run you about $160 to $180 (total). So it's not for someone on a tight budget.
