"This trip was my first experience with Country Inns & Suites and it was a VERY positive one. Pam on the desk staff was fantastic! In addition to a friendly but professional reception, she recruited me as a Carlson Club^SM member. She predicted I would be back and this is my fourth stay on this business trip. I also expect to return in a week or 10 days for another business trip. Pam was the first exceptional employee, but not the last. The manager, Ralph , was a continual source of recommendations and assistance. I had exposure to many of Ralph's team members over the course of my stays and I continued to be impressed. They worked together in support of the guest and were always pleasant and ready to be of assistance. My stay at Ralph's Country Inns & Suites was a most pleasant experience and I look forward to coming back to visit again soon."

"We have stayed at this hotel before. During our last stay we were trying to book for our next trip the following month, but unfortunately the hotel was showing as completely booked. We spoke with the Front desk person, Arlette. She said she would keep a watch for a vacancy for us. Two weeks later she called saying she had an availability and booked our reservation for us for this visit. When we arrived she greeted us by name and took care of our check-in process. She really went above and beyond what we expected. She is the reason we shall continue using this hotel, with personal service from employees who truly care about the customer's experience."

"This was my and my husband's first visit to Country Inn & Suites. It was my husband's birthday and we looked on the internet and found the suites. We read the reviews and, like the old saying, you never believe everything you read or hear. The reviews were a lot of bad things and if we would have gone by that we never would have stayed. I'm glad we followed our own minds. Everyone was friendly, professional and the rooms were clean. I would tell my friends about Country Inn and my husband and I will return. We stayed April 6th through April 8, 2012."

"I dealt mostly with Donte' and Ms. Peggy. They were very pleasant and family oriented.
We came to the Country Inns & Suites and left to check out other Hotels. We came back in approximately 30 minutes. country Inns and suites were leaps and bounds above the other hotels we checked out.

"The breakfast area was well kept and very clean. Peggy in the kitchen would get things ready for me earlier than the normal opening time because she knew I had to leave early for work. I was there for around 8 or 9 weeks for two separate stays and both times my day started off well because of the breakfast and coffee. My regular housekeeper was Phylicia and she would come in and clean my room first thing because I was working nights for a while and had to sleep during the day. All of the housekeepers that took care of my room did an excellent job. I was at the hotel for a long time and got to know the staff and some of the other guests. I felt like I was at home when I got back from work because of the welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff was all great and I don't want to single anyone out by name because they all knew me when I came in and were glad to help with anything I needed. Thanks for making this long stay away from my family easier to deal with."

"I am very impressed with this hotel! I booked six rooms for my family. We were in the area because a family member passed away. This was a very sad time for our family. Thanks to the wonderful staff, it made this part of our experience easy. From the moment I called to book the rooms, Ralph (manager) gave us a discounted group rate and helped me organize my stay. Arlette (front desk) was kind and extremely helpful. When we arrived and throughout our stay, we were made to feel welcome and at home. Arlette and the kitchen staff even went out of their way to make sure my family was comforted before and after the funeral. I only wish all hotels and staff were as wonderful as the ones at Country Inn in Hampton, VA. Thank you for making this very difficult time more peaceful."

"Again, the hotel was very nice and the staff overall was nice and helpful. We know things happen and come up, so we understand about the issues and in no way would that keep us from coming back there. Actually, we come to the Hampton area a lot and would probably stay there again many times. We think that the value for the hotel is great and look forward to staying there again soon. We did like that the business center was in an enclosed area. We liked the cookies in the lobby and the snacks that were for sale was very reasonable also. Was very grateful for the fax option there as we had a very important business deal going on and we had to fax something ASAP. Also liked the fact that we were able to get a toothbrush and razor from the front since we left ours at home. The room was very nice and clean." --- Amy

"I don't recall the names of ladies at the front desk; but they both were very nice and helpful. The lady that was there the night we checked in helped us w/ directions. The room was very comfortable and clean, one of the best hotel beds I've slept in (Lots of Fluffy pillows) and the AC worked great!!! I was very satisfied in my stay. I just stayed one night but it would have been fine for longer. I was a little worried when I booked b/c compared to the other hotels in the area the price was quite a bit less; but I felt like it was money well spent. Would stay again."- Robert

"We were in Hampton to attend the military funeral of my youngest brother, Staff Sgt Darryl LaBrie. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the beauty and quality of your inn. The service was excellent as was our room. I am a walker and I walk 1/2 hour every morning. Because of the extreme...I was unable to walk outside. So, I walked your long hall at 6 a.m. every morning making no noise because of the carpet. Being able to keep my morning routine helped get me through a very difficult time. Your inn and staff made us feel welcome and lightened the burden of our hearts."
