We usually ask for a top floor room, but this hotel doesn't have an elevator. It was pretty quiet on a Thursday night. (Stategt)

Ask for the back side at east end to be away from the pool, conference rooms and front desk.. It faces a field and away from the highway that was not really an issue anyway so you are along way away.
No elevator so be aware if you have heavy luggage. (dennish414)

Grinnell is a great place to stop. It is a college town that has lots of cool sites to take in. (Crystal G)

No elevator here so if you have trouble with stairs please request a 1st floor room. (impulse72)

Consider your luggage load, as this hotel did not seem to have elevators. Would also create challenges for those needing that accessibility. Rooms to back of hotel seemed quieter. (SaSpenSquare)

Amanda, the Guest Service person who checked us into the Grinnell Country Inn, was excellent. We were traveling with our adult son who uses a wheelchair, and she showed us three different room options in an effort to meet our needs. For us, the problem was that the biggest and best rooms had the smallest bathrooms. The room we ended up with was okay but more space would have been helpful. Overall the staff was very good, but particularly Amanda.
