The Frederik Meijer Gardens Experience

We encourage visitors that wish to experience Meijer Gardens to plan to take their time and enjoy all that there is to offer. Walk the outdoor nature trails and boardwalk, study internationally acclaimed sculpture within the outdoor Sculpture Park, enjoy endless hours of fun with the kids in the Children's Garden. Visit the indoor areas including special sculpture exhibitions in the lovely indoor galleries. See the largest tropical conservatory in the state of Michigan and gaze at exquisite arid and carnivorous plants in the Arid Garden and Carnivorous Plant House. Consider a special concert in the outdoor, terraced Amphitheater Garden, shop in the DeVos Family Gift Shop and relax in the Taste of the Gardens Café. Also, be sure to visit the Michigan's Farm Garden.

Meijer Gardens is open until 9 p.m. every Tuesday. Plus tickets can purchased for an outdoor concert on special evenings. During the winter season, experience our Christmas and Holiday Traditions Around the World exhibit where carriage rides, choirs and over 40 decorated trees and traditions may be enjoyed. Consider a visit to the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibit in the nation in March and April, where thousands of butterflies abound.
