Music plays a starring role, with singers and musicians performing, and you'll also find plenty of old-fashioned arts and crafts. Activities show what life was like for pioneers in Appalachia. The festival is held annually the second full weekend in October.

This popular autumn craft show offers the finest crafts by many of the top artists and craftspeople in the state of Tennessee. The event usually attracts up to 10,000 visitors who come to browse through close to 100 exhibits. From baskets to jewelry, it's all here. Visitors are surrounded by a festive atmosphere supplied by music, auctions, craft classes, and more. There is an additional art show at Pellisippi State in May.

The festivities are held the week of Thanksgiving.
