Very friendly and helpful staff, at all levels, in our experience. We love the convenience of adjacent rooms that can be separated by a windowed door, for the convenience of two televisions or early risers vs. late sleepers. Sinks in two different rooms are sometimes helpful. Exceptionally nice raised lounge area mezzanine like, in the reception area. The day 'round cookies and popcorn a nice extra and will be great times when were are traveling with grandkids. We love the closeness of MANY good eating places, a lot of shopping places and specially, for us, the nearness of McKays Used books it's huge. We go at least twice, each visit. It's one of a few motels like in Asheville, Louisville, or New Orleans that really are some like a "home away from home" for us, by now.

    “Great Family Hotel”

This was the best stay at a hotel we have had in a long time. The pool was great...but the fire pit was amazing!! It was quite relaxing to sit outside by the fire pit and eat pizza. Nice touch! The pool has lights that change colors and the kids really enjoyed that feature. Popcorn and cookies offered throughout the stay is a relief to us parents when the kids get the munchies. ;)
