If you get a room on the back side you'll have a nice, quiet, wooded view. (MusicTeacherNC)

“Wait till the renovation is over it might be better”
November 10, 2015
This had to be one of the worst rooms I've stayed in. I stayed in better motels for $59 a night. The Gentleman at the front desk was less than helpful upon our arrival and could not be bothered to allow us an early check in. I have never written a review before but I after my stay I was moved enough write one. Hopefully management gets the message and fixes the problems. Yes they are doing renovations but there is no excuse for having all except one light bulb burnt out in the lobby staircase, it was extremely dark. In my room #230 the carpeting needed a cleaning, the caulking in the tub was black in several areas, the door to the bathroom does not open all the way and hits the toilet. The toilet is askew from being hit by the door and you have to squeeze between the vanity and the door to close the door. The best and the most dangerous is that the sheetrock next to the light switch in the bathroom had an opening in it almost an inch wide, you could see the side of the electrical box and touch the wires. This hole was not made by any patron but looked like it was cut that way and has been like that for a while.
