We always ask for top floor, away from the elevator rooms. There is a constant fan option to keep the room from getting stuffy. (Stategt)

It is a ways from down town...about 10 miles.
The Amana colonies has so much or offer for families, trips with friends, romantic getaways, restaurants, shopping, golf, water park etc and the cost would be much less staying here (Yayadi)

“We would have been better off staying home”
November 10, 2015
My husband and I booked this hotel online. We are usually very happy with Country Inn and Suites and are, in fact, Club Carlson members. However, this particular Country Inn and Suite left a bad taste in our mouth. The staff was very helpful and accommodating but we were disappointed in both the cleanliness of the rooms and the second-rate breakfast fare. The first room that we were put in smelled so heavily of perfume that we asked to be moved. The second room didn't have any overwhelming scent but was far from clean. The floors throughout (main room as well as bathroom) were stained as were both the sink and tub/shower. When we went to the pool area to enjoy the hot tub there was a large number of teens swimming in their clothes (jeans and dresses) and being totally disruptive. They were so loud that I am sure the staff must have heard them but no one said a word to them. Needless to say, we were unable to enjoy our visit to the hot tub! Breakfast the next day was mediocre at best. We would have been much better off somewhere else......

“A good weekend”

When we got back home we received a call from your hotel, informing us our granddaughters baby doll had been left behind. So you helped us make arrangements for her safe return. We appreciate the extra effort made by staff so many places wouldn't make the effort . So Thank you. Good time by all.
