Cinco de Mayo descends on Omaha for an exciting weekend of events. Get lost in the culture and exciting entertainment of Cinco de Mayo. Activities kick off Saturday morning with the Cinco de Mayo Parade. Shortly afterwards, visitors can enjoy the fun and sun at the Fiesta, which includes music, food, rides and games. On Sunday, there's the 5K run/walk, followed by a Car Show, and finished up with more partying at the Fiesta!

The rodeo, a sanctioned Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event, includes bull riding, bareback riding, and steer wrestling competitions. The River City Roundup and Rodeo, a five-day event, is sponsored by the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben (a charitable organization benefitting heartland communities and youth), and held at the Omaha Convention Center and Arena. Additional activities include a parade, barbecue cook-offs, a 4-H stock show, hot air balloon rides, concerts, and several exhibitions.

What a ducklicious way to have summertime fun while helping a good cause! The Food Bank launched its 1st Annual O! What a Duck Race! in 2008, and you can be a part of this unique event! Over 20,000 ducks will be dropped into the lake at Heartland of America Park and will race for a quarter mile until one lucky duck is the Grand Prize Winner! Presented by WOWT and ConAgra Foods, the day will begin with family friendly activities for all ages, great food, live music, and will culminate in the racing of the derby ducks. The first six adopted ducks over the finish line win terrific prizes.
