This mouth-watering annual event pits cooks from across the region against one another in a friendly competition for title of best Brunswick Stew recipe. Local restaurateurs serve up their secret stew to judges, who then proclaim a winner. The competition for the title is fierce, as all competitors strive to earn the title of top stew chef. Other Stewbilee activities include a fun run and 5K race, a dog parade, a classic car show, children's fun zone, and live music. Fun event and a great way to interact with the Coastal Georgia community.

Parishioners from Brunswick's St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, carrying a hand-carved wooden statue of Mary, lead the processional through the local park and historic Hanover Square.
